Garden Lakes Neighbors! Neighbors, is there a project that Cornerstone Church can do for you? On Sunday, May 18th, we are happy to do any type of small project our Garden Lakes neighbors might need like house cleaning, washing windows, lawn care, or minor household repairs at no charge. To let us know about your project, click the link below or call the church at 706-234-4923. That Sunday, stop by the church for a free car wash, and be sure to bring money for the food trucks that will be serving lunch from 11am to 1pm that day.

April 16 // Foundations Course In this Foundations Course, we will be learning more about who Jesus is and what He does. This 5-week course will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, beginning April 16th. Childcare is available, but please register so we can prepare.

April 26 // Marriage Date Night Join us on Saturday, April 26th from 5-7pm for a special evening designed just for married couples! Bring your picnic and enjoy a relaxed night on the lawn filled with laughter, connection, and fun board games. Plus, we’ll share some Marriage Nuggets—a few moments of encouragement to strengthen and inspire your relationship. Don’t miss this chance to invest in your marriage while making great memories! Deadline to register is Wednesday, April 23rd.

April 27 // Next Step: Step 2 Next Steps: Step 2 is held on the 4th Sunday of each month. In Step 2, we talk about how we fulfill our mission at Cornerstone and how you fit into that mission. If you are ready to get involved, Step 2 is your next step. April 27 // Baptism At Cornerstone, we believe water baptism is a celebration of your decision to follow Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Just as the symbols of the wedding and wedding ring are a declaration of a marriage covenant, water baptism is the outward declaration of the covenant you’ve made with God. As your church, we would like to stand with you as you publicly declare you have made the decision to surrender your life to the Lord. May 4 // Honoring Graduates We will be honoring our Cornerstone high school and college graduates during an upcoming service. If you are graduating this year, be sure to register to let us know.

May 18 // CARE Day / Food Truck Sunday Sunday, May 18th will be CARE Day / Food Truck Sunday from 10:30am - 12:00pm. Instead of having a regular church service on this day, we will be serving our neighbors who live around the church campus. We have lined up several projects to do that morning to help our neighbors and share the love of Jesus with them. Plus, there will be several food trucks here for our neighbors and our church people to have lunch. No childcare provided. May 29 - June 1 // Youth Summer Camp Cornerstone Church is partnering with other local Rome churches for YSC 25. This Youth Summer Camp will be held at Potters Ranch in Kentucky, and the dates are May 29th - June 1st. Included in this trip, the students will get to experience The Ark Encounter. The cost for this event is $275 per student, and a $50 deposit is required to reserve your spot.

June 22 // Baby Dedication Baby Dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents make a commitment before the Lord to raise their child according to God's Word and God's ways. Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to raise the child in a godly way. June 23-27 & June 30-July 4 // Winshape Kids Camp Parents, registration is open for Winshape Kids Camp. We will have 2 separate weeks of camp that your kids will never forget. Week 1 cost $255 per child, and Week 2 cost $205 per child.

July 3 // Church Offices Closed On Thursday, July 3rd our church offices will be closed for the holiday.

July 19 // Water Day! Water Day is on Saturday, July 19th! We will have water slides, water games, water balloons, water guns, and anything else water related you can think of. This free event is for our entire church, and we're inviting our church neighbors, too.
